We help families create modern homesteads

The Academy of Self-Reliance, a 501©(3) non-profit, assists families to achieve whatever level of self-reliance they want by helping them ween themselves from dependency on cities for their food, water, power and sanitation needs.

The Academy is also a partner in “Operation Self-Reliance”, a non-profit effort to create multiple online-but-off-grid modern homesteading communities of at least 200 families each.
